Leader

Initially when I think of a leader I  believe it’s a person who simply has followers. To be a great, positive, and constantly growing leader you have to connect with, and encourage individuals in order to give guidance and be followed. You should always see yourself as a host who provides direction for  guest. Humility is key because leaders should embrace responsibility, but never enforce or always have to take the leading role. Leaders are listeners and should understand the perspectives of others before communicating their point. I believe we should serve sacrificially and earn the right to be heard by listening first as we constantly influence the ones around us. I also think leaders have self assessment as we grow and change our mistakes by seeking counsel and wisdom from others. Leaders should possess conviction about principles as well as passion for peoples diversity. Generally four qualities a leader should possess is Humility, Intiative,  good listening,  and encouragement. I would say I have all these skills because I understand that being a leader is about the developement of others and accepting responsibility. I know you can do this by listening to,  encouraging, understanding,  serving, and sincerely earning the respect of others.
